Landscapes

For a long time I didn’t consider myself a landscape photographer because I have never been drawn to take the typical grande landscape scenes most people think of when people define landscape photography. It has only been recently that I discovered the genre of landscape photography that focuses more on intimate landscapes and which I have been doing for many years. It was refreshing to know that I wasn’t so different from many other landscape photographers after all.

Wildlife

For me, wildlife photography is like meditation. When I am focused on capturing images of wildlife I can lose all sense of time and place, becoming so engrossed in observing and capturing their behaviour. I very much feel it is a privilege for me to be in their space and so I make every effort not to disturb the wildlife or alter their behaviour in any way.
